GreenPack - The sustainable packaging

In search of new formats that focus on sustainability, we have created a new product that is totally biodegradable and compostable. The Cellulose fiber botanical nets allow to keep the same format with a reduced environmental impact, thanks to the reduction of emissions during the production phase and the volume of waste to be disposed and recycled.

Production process

WOOD

The botanical nets are made from wood from central Europe, free from plastic, biodegradable, compostable, can be disposed of together with the most common organic waste.

FIBER

The extracted cellulose pulp is transformed into fiber for spinning, the entire production process takes place within the EU, with a reduction in time and logistical impact.

COLORING

The dyed-fiber pigmentation system allows to color the fiber with a high saving of water and energy which allows to have a low environmental impact.

YARN

The cellulose fiber is suitable for producing yarns with high tenacity, perfect for weaving, resistant to tearing, it is ideal for the production of packaging for fruit and vegetables.

NET

Cellulose nets are suitable for citrus and fruit and vegetable packaging, are suitable for contact with food, are resistant and allow the product to transpire, increasing the shelf-life.

COMPOST

After use, the packaging can be safely disposed of through industrial and home composting systems, the net decomposes in 8 weeks in the ground.

CERTIFICATION

The nets are certified for use and contact with food, certified for composting and produced according to the standards of the European Regulations for the food packaging sector.

Our Cellulose net is made with a rhombus mesh composed of 92 threads, there are other types of meshes with 72, 60 or 48 threads for other types of applications.

The dope-dye coloring system allows you to have main colors and others obtained from color mixtures.
